TRAVEL BLOG #5: BONCHON (A Special Episode)

We are fan of Korean dramas, K-pop and mukbangs so we've always wanted to try the food they eat on their videos. We are curious about the taste and what it makes it so yummy to look, maybe because of its bright red color or saturared color in videos. We are always curious about the taste. We have tried eating on a samgyupsal before but we never really had to eat bibimbowl. We felt really happy knowing that Bonchon offers such food, so we get to try it.

Bonchons Bibimbowl: Yey or Ew? (bold) At first, if you're not into exotic taste type of food, you wouldn't really like the taste because its kinda sour, lil spicy and a bit sweet. You will start to think that buying it was waste of money. But if you continue eating eat, you will feel something unique about it as you savour every spoon of it. The food itself are made of various ingredients such as rice, egg strips, carrot strips, glazed meat of your choice (could be chicken, beef or seafood), nori strips, sesame seeds, and i think that the sauce is gojuchang. We ordered beef bibimbowl because its the one that costs much and it looks that it has also the most serving. The meat was to tender and juicy. The moment you mixed all the ingredients, the color and taste will be similar to kimchi. We filipinos loves to eat rice, so we can say that the amount of rice in the bowl is proportionate to the meat. If you really want to try to eat some korean food wirhout actually getting poor after eating, we recommend you to visit Bonchon. The taste is so good and best for a heavy meal.
